Perfect Fit …?

Mike Knuble. I think the jury’s still out. He’s old – 37. But he stands in front of the net – and that’s something lacking on this stellarly talented team.

He’s going to play on the top line?  Sorry, but Flyer’s top line is – er – not the same as playing with Ovie and Nicky.  Then again, maybe that toughness is what we need — it’s *definitely* what we need.

Can he hold up?  37 is ancient in the NHL.

Of course, I was (and am) sad to see Sergei go.  Federov, though was 39 going on Hall of Fame-still has those flashes of brilliance when you need them (remember game 7 against the Rangers in the first round of the playoffs?).

What I know?  Brooks Laich is ready to center the second line.
